Brown & Whittaker Funerals is an independent funeral business owned and operated by James (Jimmy) Macdonald offering bereaved families a personal 24 hour service following the loss of a loved one. From our office in Ingleton, B&W Funerals has, for more than 30 years, served local communities in North Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cumbria including the villages of Ingleton, Bentham, Burton in Lonsdale, Wray, Hornby, Caton, Kirkby Lonsdale, Austwick and Clapham.

Our aim is to provide you with a professional, caring and personal service, tailored to your family’s individual needs. Jimmy will personally ensure that bereaved families and their loved one receive both dignity and respect throughout this difficult time. We consider it a privilege to be entrusted with the care of your loved one and will do our utmost to provide you with any advice, reassurance and guidance you may require. You are welcome to visit our office in Ingleton or, if you prefer, a home visit can be arranged.

Brown & Whittaker Funerals offer a range of funerals, from traditional burial to modern day cremation and woodland burial. Both religious and non-religious ceremonies can be arranged. Advice on and provision of memorial headstones and plaques is also available.

We will happily provide a quotation based on your requirements and also offer our own pre-paid funeral plans, should this be required.
